Intern Role

From time to time, Bright Line Law offers an internship opportunity. 

Interns will be asked to undertake specific work tasks which may involve providing support with legal cases, undertaking research or writing for The White Collar Crime Centre, or assisting with administrative tasks where necessary. 

The intern will receive a lump sum payment, the amount calculated by reference to hours likely to be worked. The time commitment is variable, depending on the requirements of the task and the intern’s availability.  All work is undertaken at Bright Line Law’s offices in London and on occasion in Manchester. 

The opportunity offers invaluable experience and assists in demonstrating commitment in the workplace.

Minimum requirements

  1. Undergraduate degree, First Class or Upper Second, or international equivalent.
  2. If the applicant did not graduate in law, a postgraduate degree in law or legal qualification is required.
  3. Demonstrable interest in white collar crime and criminal justice issues.
  4. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write and speak clearly and succinctly.
  6. Good numeracy skills.
  7. Research and analytical skills of a very high order.
  8. Ability to meet deadlines and a strong attention to detail.
  9. Able to exercise good judgment, sensitivity and tact.
