Sara Trainor

Associate Researcher with The White Collar Crime Centre

Sara Trainor is an Associate Researcher at The White Collar Crime Centre. She combines her research with her full time role as a Junior Associate at Edmonds Marshall McMahon in London.

In 2015 Sara was awarded an M.Phil in Criminological Research by the University of Cambridge. Sara also holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Social Sciences from Bond University, Australia. Sara qualified as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2013 and started her career at one of Queensland’s largest criminal defence firms before her move to London to pursue further study. One of Sara’s core research areas is deterrence theory and how it informs criminal justice policymaking.
