‘The Origins of Modern Financial Crime’ - a must-read for anybody working in the field of financial crime

Jonathan Fisher QC recently provided an endorsement for Dr Sarah Wilson's new book, 'The Origins of Modern Financial Crime'. The book was published earlier in May this year by Routledge Taylor & Francis.

The book focuses on how the way we respond to financial crime has changed as a result of the global financial crisis. Focusing on this change and 'crime in the commercial sphere', this text considers the legal and economic dimensions of financial crime and its significance in societal consciousness in twenty-first century Britain.

Commenting on 'The Origins of Modern Financial Crime', Mr Fisher said "this book is a must-read for anybody working in the field of financial crime, whether as a practitioner or academic lawyer."

In addition to his practice as a leading barrister, Jonathan Fisher QC is the general editor of Lloyds Law Reports: Financial Crime. Dr Wilson is one of the law report's case correspondents.
