'Londongrad'-based Russian Companies facing economic sanctions

As Russian companies using London as a conduit through which to broker deals face the prospect of economic sanction from the U.S. and E.U., many are preparing to moderate their affairs accordingly. Jonathan Fisher QC, quoted in Bloomberg, describes the prospect of sanctions as a "significant irritant" for Russian businesspeople, and posits that many may have already moved money out of the UK ahead of time.
 
Jonathan has significant experience in the area of economic sanctions, including appearing in cases involving the Iranian Sanctions regime. In addition, Jonathan is responsible for the International Economic Sanctions module on the LLM programme at LSE.
