Jonathan Fisher QC writes article in the Times, 'A broken regime - and why the law on confiscation needs to change'

Jonathan Fisher QC has written an article published in the Times today entitled, ‘A broken regime – and why the law on confiscation needs to change’. The article discusses why Britain’s criminal confiscation regime is broken and the three key changes that need to be made.

‘It is no wonder that the collection rate for confiscation orders is so low. The money simply does not exist. The law should be concentrating on actual and not notional figures.’
