Jonathan Fisher QC named The Times Lawyer of the week

Jonathan Fisher QC, at Bright Line Law and Red Lion Chambers, has been named The Times Lawyer of the week.

Jonathan Fisher QC recently led team for the Serious Fraud Office in the High Court case relating to legal privilege and internal investigations into alleged corruption by ENRC. Jonathan described the main challenges of the case as “Making sure the facts did not get lost during extremely interesting arguments of law. In his profile in The Times, Jonathan acknowledged those who had inspired him in his career, stating: “My pupil-master HH Peter Rook, QC; Anthony Arlidge, QC, with whom I worked during pupillage, and Sir Louis Blom-Cooper, QC, who led me in my first big civil case and gave me my red bag. And my dear late grandfather. When I was four he started to introduce me to his friends as his lawyer!”
