DPP rebuffs attempt to lift restraint order in $1.2 billion corruption case

In one of the largest cases brought in the UK for mutual legal assistance, the Director of Public Prosecutions has successfully rebuffed an attempt to lift a restraint order over approximately $82 million held in London.

Judgment was given on the 14th December 2015 by Mr Justice Edis sitting at the Royal Courts of Justice. Jonathan Fisher QC was instructed by the DPP leading Will Hayes from 6 KBW College Hill.
