Book Review of Jonathan Fisher QC’s chapter - ‘Risk, Recklessness and Policing Financial Markets’

A review of Jonathan Fisher’s chapter in the book ‘Fighting Financial Crime in the Global Economic Crisis’ has been published on Amazon.

The book was published in late 2014 and was edited by Dr. Nicholas Ryder, a Professor in Law at the University of the West of England.

The book illustrates the global nature of financial crime, and highlights the complex relationships between regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies and private actors in the attempt to limit the harmful effect of white collar crime on the stability of the financial sector.

Jonathan Fisher QC wrote chapter 2 of the book entitled, ‘Risk, Recklessness and Policing the Financial Markets.’

A review of the book was submitted last month on Amazon. In the review you will see the relevant quote regarding Mr Fisher,

“His article for this book entitled ‘Risk, Recklessness and Policing Financial Markets’ discusses the inevitable tension between calculated risk taking and reckless risk taking, knowing when there’s a difference and the possible penalties that could, or should, result for making the wrong decision. The commentary is quite compelling including, for example, the remarks on City traders and J.P. Morgan and the London Whale!"
