Natasha Reurts is an Associate at Bright Line Law and undertakes policy work at The White Collar Crime Centre.
Now based in London, Natasha is an Australian qualified lawyer, admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2012. Natasha completed her practical legal training at a specialist criminal defence firm in Sydney, then known as Nyman Gibson Stewart, where she was heavily involved in defending large scale international money laundering and fraud trials. Subsequently, Natasha worked as a Judge’s Associate in both the Supreme and District Courts of New South Wales, working predominantly within the criminal jurisdiction and was exposed to numerous high profile fraud, bribery, insider trading and tipping cases. As a member of the New South Wales Young Lawyers Criminal Law Committee, Natasha routinely contributed to numerous written submissions in response to NSW and Commonwealth Government consultation papers on a variety of criminal law issues, including criminal appeals procedures and standard minimum non-parole periods.
Natasha holds a Bachelor of International Studies and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Sydney, a LLM (Distinction) from the London School of Economics, and is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
