We are pleased to announce that our Lead Counsel, Jonathan Fisher QC, has been appointed as a Trustee of the International Lawyers Project.
The International Lawyers Project (formerly International Senior Lawyers Project-UK) was founded in 2005 by a small group of highly experienced lawyers who were passionate about supporting civil society and communities in low-income countries and emerging markets, through strategic pro bono legal assistance. The Project’s work is guided by the principles underpinning the promotion of economic justice, civil liberties, and human rights as it seeks to further enhance economic and social justice with a focus on corruption, tax reform, and media freedom.
Jonathan says: “Having seen the work of the Project at close hand, I am absolutely delighted to join ILP’s Board and take my association with the Project to a new level”.
Together with Anita Clifford, Bright Line Law has participated in international programmes presented by the Project in Albania, Kenya, and Zambia.
