Charlette Bunn

Associate Researcher with The White Collar Crime Centre

Charlette is an Associate Researcher with The White Collar Crime Centre.

Now living in London, Charlette was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2012. Charlette has over three years post qualification experience in criminal defence, commercial litigation and arbitration.

Charlette then began working as a solicitor at DAC Beachcroft New Zealand, where she was involved in a range of matters including a commerce commission investigation into anti-competitive behaviour as well a high profile case in which directors of a blue chip company were criminally convicted for false statements made in company offer documents. Charlette has appeared in both the District Court and High Court in Auckland and acted as a prosecutor for a regulatory body.

Since moving to London, Charlette has also worked on a number of cases at Slaughter and May including a large scale international arbitration and smaller investigation into allegations of fraudulent misstatement within the financial sector.

Charlette holds both a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Auckland, a LLM from the London School of Economics, and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
