In a fascinating exploration of the UK’s experience of Unexplained Wealth Orders by Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) published on 20 April 2021, Anita was quoted alongside other financial crime practitioners on the impact of the recent dismissal of a UWO in the Baker case.

Anita commented on the utility of UWOs and queried whether although the National Crime Agency was not victorious, the case is an example of the tool being used to push information about the provenance of wealth into the public domain.
