Bright Line Law is interested in receiving applications from barristers (practising and non-practising, or qualified foreign lawyer) who would like to participate in the work of Bright Line Law and The White Collar Crime Centre.

Strong practice commitment, dedication to professional development and excellent academic qualifications are essential requirements. Bright Line Law has a policy of selective expansion and seeks expertise in all types of white collar crime cases. With its dedicated marketing platform, there are opportunities for practice growth and professional development. As a new-generation barrister law firm, Bright Line Law can consider flexible arrangements.

If you are interested in discussing an opportunity, please contact Jonathan Fisher QC in confidence.

In 2018, one pupillage will be offered to an applicant who will be either a qualified legal practitioner in a common law jurisdiction or legal academic permitted by the BSB to undertake a reduced pupillage after successfully completing the Bar Transfer Test.

The pupil will commence pupillage in September / October 2018 and will be supervised directly by Jonathan Fisher QC. He or she must have an interest in developing a specialist civil and/or criminal practice focused on financial or corporate wrongdoing. The pupil will work closely with Jonathan Fisher QC on financial and corporate crime cases and will have access to one-on-one training opportunities as part of pupillage. Time will be invested in the pupil so that he or she is equipped to succeed at the Bar. The pupil will have an opportunity to shadow other members of the Bar during their non-practising period and, where possible, marshal with a judge.

The successful candidate will come to the pupillage with an inquisitive mind, excellent academic qualifications, superior oral and written communication skills, litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in cases involving corporate and financial wrongdoing. Commitment to law reform and the development of law is an advantage.
